It helps if you say which device you are using, which version of iOS, what you were doing, and what happened instead of what you expected.
Reporting a post, a reply or a photo
Use the report control on the post, the reply or the photo inside the app. If you cannot reach it, email support@popquarry.com with enough detail to find it.
We aim to review every report within 24 hours and to remove anything that breaks the rules in the terms of use, and to remove the account responsible where that is warranted. You can also block another user in the app, which hides their content from you and stops them replying to you.
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Membership, billing and refunds
Memberships are bought through your Apple Account, so Apple handles the money.
- To cancel: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you paid for ends.
- For a refund: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
- If Apple refuses and you believe that is wrong, email us and we will help where we can.
Your data
Your cooking notes, lists and private photos live on your device, not on our server. You can export your own notes to a PDF and keep that copy.
There is no server backup of them. If you delete the app or lose the device, they are gone, and we cannot recover them because we never had a copy.
To get a copy of what we do hold, to correct it, or to delete your account and its community content, email support@popquarry.com from the address on the account. The privacy policy explains what is held and for how long.
Cooking safely
Recipes give a starting point, not a guarantee. Check ingredients yourself if you or anyone eating has an allergy, and cook food to a safe internal temperature using current guidance from a public health authority. Section 4 of the terms of use covers this.
The cookbook
The cookbook is published at joestestkitchen.com, where six of the ninety-nine recipes are free to read without giving an email address.
